This training is an introduction to Youth Reconnect (YR) — a community-based program model for young people aged 13-24 who may be at risk of experiencing homelessness. You will learn how YR programs engage young people and their families to prevent youth homelessness and strengthen school participation.
Youth Reconnect incorporates Housing First for Youth (HF4Y) philosophy and Family and Natural Supports (FNS) principles to promote housing stability and enhance school engagement for youth at risk of experiencing homelessness.
